The Austox Program
The AUSTOX programs offer both qualitative and quantitative schemes designed to test the competence of laboratories engaged in drug testing in various biological fluids (blood, urine and synthetic oral fluid). Participants in the AUSTOX programs come from hospital, forensic, specialised and private drug testing facilities throughout Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and UK.
Austox is administered by the Quality Management Unit, Forensic & Analytical Science Service.
